WORKSHOPS

The CCMHS offers standard workshops and can develop specific content based on clients’ needs (e.g., coaches, athletes, parents, organizations). Examples of topics covered include but are not limited to integration of mental health in coaching practice, wellness, self-care, resilience, stress management and prevention of burnout. Our workshops are usually 60 to 90 minutes and can be delivered in person or online. Our educational initiatives provide participants with knowledge, skills, tools and concrete examples to increase their ability and comfort to navigate mental health, mental performance, and mental illness symptoms (the Mental Triad) within and outside of the sport context. Our trained facilitators lead participants through activities to improve their mental health literacy and assist them in supporting their own well-being and performance, and that of others.
